Coming back from hiatus

Finally, after a lengthy hiatus, Sounds of Knoxville Theatre Podcast returns in a couple of days with a new show.  I'll be speaking with Christina Adams and some cast members from the Maryville Youth Theatre's production of "The Wizard of Oz".  I'll also be sharing all the latest productions and auditions info, talk about the finale of "Smash", the Tony Award nominations, and will be sharing some thoughts about life, art, and theatre in general.  These past few weeks I've been off have been eventful and I'm going to try to put them in perspective...   Stay tuned!

My Spidey Sense is Tingling..

Congratulations to Laura Beth Wells (Episode 8) on the birth of her little girl, Lily!  Mom, dad and baby are doing fine - now, back to the show, LB!

Here's an update on the next SOKT Podcast: I've been busy with a number of extenuating circumstances this week... I'd hoped to have an interview with Becky Thomas, music teacher at Central High School to talk about their current production of Les Miserables but that will have to come at another time... Soon, I hope!  There will definitely be a podcast next week, hopefully featuring someone I would bill as the "grande dame" of Knoxville-area theatre.  Stay tuned!
